The consortium of the Interreg Sudoe project #AGROSMARTcoop celebrated on the 14th of November, its 2nd Transnational Coordination Meeting. The meeting was organized by the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro in Vila Real, Portugal.
The 1st Transnational Coordination Meeting was held during the kickoff meeting of the project on the 6th and the 7th of September 2016 in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
The AGROSMARTcoop project “Space for the integration, competitiveness and intelligent economic growth of agri-food cooperatives in the Sudoe rural areas” has a total budget of 1 295 000 € cofinanced at 75% by the ERDF (European Régional Development Fund).
Until the 30th of June 2018, the eight partner entities from six European regions will work in synergy to create a space for promotion, networking and intelligent interaction for agri-food cooperatives of the Sudoe with advanced tools and support services.
This meeting was held to validate the commitments foreseen during the kickoff meeting and to review the project working plan by work packages : WP1 : Analysis of the adaptive capacity of agri-food cooperatives of the Sudoe to the current market ; WP2 : Development of the virtual platform for intercooperation of the agri-food cooperatives of the Sudoe ; WP3 – which AREPO is responsible for – : Actions for the dissemination and fostering of the scientific and technological knowledge, and for the cooperatives promotion and intercooperation of the agri-food cooperatives of the Sudoe.
