The 2nd edition of the international conference on Geographical Indications will be held in Rome (Italy), from 18 to 21 February 2025.
The conference, titled “Global Perspectives on Geographical Indications”, is organised by FAO together with the Italian Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry, with CIRAD (Centre for International Cooperation in Agricultural Research for Development, Montpellier, France), IPI (Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property, Switzerland), oriGIn (Organization for an international network of geographical indications), Origin Italia and the Qualivita Foundation.
This second edition will focus on the theme of innovation for sustainability.
We invite you to not miss the chance to participate in this conference and to propose a contribution to the Scientific Committee organising it!
The contribution might be a scientific/academic research but also the description of a practical experience. They can be written in English, French, Italian and Spanish.
Submission of proposals for contributions is open until 30 September 2024.
